Happy New Year!! This time of the year is full of reasons to pop some bubbly. Right now I'd like to toast the happy couples that recently got engaged over the holidays! We're so lucky to be in the Horse Capital of the World! There are so many wonderful venues in Lexington and close by. Below are 5 Lexington area wedding venues that are reasonably priced.
Here are just a few of favorites that we can't get enough of:
Warrenwood Manor
Warrenwood Manor is one of our favorites! This charming venue has a historic manor situated right at the front of the property. The eye-catching Gothic manor has survived a history of decay and restoration. The current owner has brought Warrenwood back to life with open arms for celebrations. Warrenwood opened for its first wedding season in 2015.
You will easily fall in love with this property! Upstairs is a bridal suite with beautiful Victorian windows. The natural light is perfect for getting ready pictures. They have a lovely courtyard for outdoor ceremonies and a barn for use too. You have several options of how to arrange your wedding set up for your day. You'll find this southern spot in Danville, just an hour drive from Lexington.

The Round Barn
The Round Barn Stable of Memories is a beautiful, multi-story barn located in the heart of Lexington. This historic venue looks out onto Red Mile Racetrack. You might even be lucky enough to catch a race at your wedding! Built in 1882, the barn has served as an exhibition hall, stable and restored into a museum.
This is a beautiful place for an outdoor ceremony. The red doors pop against the intricate wood frame. If you are thinking of a barn wedding venue this is a unique one to consider. There is a large enough space inside for a large reception or indoor ceremony, if desired. This landmark location is a must-see!
The Bell House
The Bell House is an eloquent white columned-building with a history. The beautiful white brick and column construction is a bright and lavish exterior. This is a reasonable priced venue that is very pretty in pictures. The home features a darling, pink bridal suite upstairs.
The house was built in 1845 by prominent Lexington resident, Sayre. After its construction, the mansion was purchased by Henry Bell and remained in the family until the 1950s. Today, the Bell House is a place of celebrations and weddings. The Bell House is rumored to be haunted by a young lady. We’ve never seen anything out of the ordinary. Rumor has it, one wedding couple had a special appearance from the young lady in their wedding photos.

Talon Winery
As photographers, there is one thing that comes to mind when we think of Talon, twinkle lights! Their Ca’Barn’et Barrel Barn has permanent twinkle lights installed so you can dance under the lights all night! This makes for glowing reception photos. The pond is a perfect place to sneak away for sunset pictures! This property really has so much to offer!
Established in 1999, Talon is Fayette County's first winery. This is a really versatile venue to consider! With multiple spots across the property, you will come away with a variety of photos. alon Winery sits on 300 acres of historic Kentucky farmland, Fair View Farm. The Ca'Barn'et Barrel Barn was converted from a working tobacco barn. The original farmhouse was built before Kentucky was even a state! The restored house still shows most of its original structure. You can even get ready in this historic home on your wedding day!

Ashley Inn
Ashley Inn is a long-time favorite of ours and you're about to find out why! This quaint property is nestled into the hills of Lancaster, Kentucky. As an equestrian and boarding center, this is a scenic Kentucky wedding venue that checks all the boxes. A vintage blue truck and rope swing, what's not to love! There are horses and barn cats that pop by and say hi from now and then. We love capturing pictures of the happy couples feeding the horses. Consider providing carrots and sugar cubes for your guests to treat the horses with. Your guests will love this!
This romantic property has all the equestrian and Kentucky feels you could hope for. Choose from getting married in front of the mansion, lakeside or under a weeping willow. The open-air Carriage House is a perfect setting for your reception. This place will capture your heart!
